live 1Dave and Kyle met 4 years ago during a recording session. The following 4 years they continued to run into each other at various shows and recording sessions as hired guns. About a year ago, Kyle’s cover band was looking for a new drummer and Dave just seemed to fit.

For the past year Dave and Kyle have been recording and playing shows around the Atlanta and Athens, Georgia area, picking up recording sessions and one off fill-in shows as a rhythm section team.

Dave received a call from a singer/songwriter friend for some rhythm tracks. The problem was the artist didn’t have the funds to fly anyone out to Phoenix, Arizona where the sessions were taking place. After receiving some rough tracks, Dave and Kyle recorded the tracks in Dave’s studio and then sent them back to Phoenix. Dave’s friend was so impressed with his tracks that it led to the idea of taking their talents worldwide and Studio One North was born.

Kyle LiveKyle keeps his style his own, while creating a bass line that not only fits the track, but also mixes with the other instruments to create a "unified" sound.
